We love a good countdown, so here are our Top 10 Retro Locations, as voted for by team Focus and our colleagues at The Collective film location agency. Whether you’re looking for 50s Americana, 60s cool or 70s suburbia, we have a location to suit all your nostalgic needs!

Cute as a button, this bright mansion block flat is packed with colourful prints and mid-century modern furniture. Introducing SILLYELVA LONDON

Kaleidoscopic prints are a key feature in the AW14 collection from SILLYELVA LONDON. Photographed at Focus ref 519 designer Dongfang Ye shows how to add colour to your wardrobe this winter.

David Gandy turns up the heat at Focus ref 484 in his latest collaboration with Marks & Spencer.

The model turned designer has combined quality fabrics and his own stylish flair to produce this, ahem, eye catching loungewear collection for the Autograph line.

A great stocking filler for Christmas!

Men’s Tailoring A/W 2014

Strong sartorial checks and bold, clean lines are the order of the day with this season’s men’s tailoring.

The sleek architecture and iconic skyline at Focus ref. 404 perfectly complements the elegant, slim fitting styles featured in this GQ France story, shot by Roger Rich:

Solid lines with softer roll neck styles is also a key trend, as seen in this Adam Whitehead editorial for The Telegraph Magazine, shot at City of Westminster College:

Bold geometric prints and checks feature in this Plaza Uomo Magazine shoot at Focus ref. 331 with models Jacob Coupe and Aaron Gatward. With sharp suiting from the likes of E.Tautz and Dunhill, photographer Eric Broms perfectly captures the tailoring zeitgeist.

For more formal occasions, classic monochrome and bolder tile prints are the sartorial choice this season.

Unbroken

Directed by Angelina Jolie, Unbroken tells the remarkable true story of Louis Zamperini, a former Olympic track star who, whilst serving as a US Army Air Force Lieutenant in the Second World War, survives a plane crash in the Pacific, only to endure 47 days adrift in a life raft in shark infested waters, followed by two years in a Japanese P.O.W camp.

The cast – including rising British star Jack O’Connell (who plays Zamperini) – were shot by Jason Bell for Vanity Fair at our unique sand quarry location:
